Governor Schwarzenegger's solution

It seems the Govenator has a solution for the economic problems facing our country. Don't be economic girlie men!. Wow! Why didn't we all think of that before. Maybe if we say nan-a-nan-a-boo-boo to the North Koreans they'll hand over their nukes.

The latest actor turned politician also tried to suggest that the troops serving in Iraq don't see the two Americas Senator Kerry is honest enough to talk about. My question for the governor is are those the troops who were lucky enough to get body armor or those whose family had to buy it and send it to them? Without a doubt they are experiencing the two Americas, while they watch the Haliburton mercenaries beside them make the vice president rich(er).

Here's to hoping Joe Lockhart does as good a job for the next president as he did for the last.

What the plan is...

Redstate.org has an aritcle Sun Tzu At Work? which begins to reveal what is likely behind the half truths of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. It reveals that much more than truth the group is after orchestrating a political attack. There is nothing new or surprising about that, as much as it is interesting to see RNC bloggers admitting what the plan is.

What is interesting is that yesterday one of the news shows had a bunch of people from Missouri talking about the election and who they were going to vote for. One in particular stood out as they said that President George W. Bush would get their vote because of his "honesty and integrity".

RNC to Cancel McCain

This is Rumor Control muses on the possibility of the Bush regime canceling Senator John McCain's speech before the Republican National Convention because McCain is too hot over the Bush regime's refusal to do the right thing and condemn fantasy ads about Kerry's service to the country during Vietnam.

The question that nobody I've heard has asked and certainly nobody has answered is why would Kerry have made his war record? Not now, but at the time.

Coloradoans look for electability in Democratic Sentate race

An article from last Friday in the Denver Post cites a poll showing Ken Salazar has a runaway lead in the race for the democratic nomination for the open US Senate seat. One can certainly hope. This race is critical to getting a change in the Senate. Of those polled 21% cited candidate qualities including electability and experience as key deciding factors. Ken Salazar, with his history of being elected by the people of the state of Colorado and a history of working for the state's people should be a shoe in on that critera.

Anohter attack on states rights

As the people of the country wait for the Senate to once again take up the business of running the country (whilst they are currently debating removing civil rights from the constinution) comes word of another attack on states rights. The Bush Administration, after being elected on a platform of states rights, is now trying to strike down state law in Oregon.

In an unusual move Ashcroft asked the 9th circuit to rehear the case instead of taking the case before the Supreme Court. Could it be that the administration woul

Will micro payments lead to microactivism?

There has not been much coverage of the idea that I've seen yet. However, sites such as google charge by click throughs on ads. So if you do a search for gop several times and click on the top ad that appears (currently an ad for the RNC) one could drive up the cost of the ads while having little to no impact from them. Is it legal? Ethical? Should you only click on an ad once? Will it be the next wave of activism, people getting groups of their like-minded supporters to use up the advertising dollars of their opponents while s
